Communities In Schools of Arizona (CISAZ) was established as an Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in 1994, with a mission to champion the connection of needed
 community resources with schools and to help young people successfully learn,
 stay in school and prepare for life.

CISAZ believes that every child needs and deserves "Five Basics":

                                   A one-on-one relationship with a caring adult.
                                   A healthy start and a healthy future.
                                   A safe place to learn and grow.
                                   A marketable skill to use upon graduation.
                                   A chance to give back to the community and peers.
